At once a metaphor of the creative journey, slowed and distorted through chronic disease, but never abandoned. The dizzyingly glorious world at stake. The promise of a way through. Of homecoming.
Does the hawk dive after the fish? Or the salmon burst towards the sky? The realms of air and water are pierced and passed in each. Sometimes the truth can not be seen directly, but only experienced when we look, in a moment as ice, askance….
